Rachel Davies (born in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in both July 1975 and February 1976 as Donna Parker, who gained the attention of Alf Roberts.
Perhaps better known in her regular roles of Pauline in Making Out from 1989 to 1991, Shirley Foster/Turner in Emmerdale from 1993 to 1994 and Margaret Wright in The Chase from 2006 to 2007, her other credits include roles in Harriet's Back in Town, Doctor Who, Strangers, Grange Hill, Leaving, Boon, The Manageress, Cracker, Band of Gold, Born to Run, Linda Green, Nice Guy Eddie, Bodies, Best Friends, Doctors and Cutting It.
On stage, she appeared in productions of The Lark, Long Day's Journey Into Night, The Bacchae, The Party, Travesties, Othello, Ecstasy and The City Wit.
