Rachael Elizabeth (born 1982 in Liverpool) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly between December 2007 and September 2008 as Abi Sharpe, the police officer friend of Mel Morton; and she returned to the programme making intermittent appearances between February 2020 and January 2021 as Vanessa Finney, a mother whose snobbish friend, Imogen Tatum, looked down upon Gemma Winter.
She trained at both Liverpool Arts Centre and the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, graduating in 2006 with a first class honours degree.
Her other television credits include roles in Eyes Down, The Chase, The Street, Doctors, Emmerdale, Casualty, Home Fires, The Five and A Wicked Plan, the TV movies Inn Mates and Eggbox and the 2019 feature film Yesterday.
Stage roles include parts in An Ideal Husband, All My Sons, Love's Labour's Lost, The Three Sisters, The Guid Sisters, Touched and Dolly West's Kitchen.
