Port Erin is a seaside village in the south-west of the Isle of Man. In Victorian times, it had a strong tourist trade but this declined during the Twentieth Century.
In October 1961, newly-weds Harry and Concepta Hewitt spent their honeymoon in the town, staying at the Cresta Hotel. Harry wondered if he had made a mistake with the choice of resort which could prove to be chilly but Concepta assured him that she was fine with the place.
- No location filming took place in the town. All scenes were recorded in studio with a photocaption showing the resort used in Episode 85 (4th October 1961).
