The unnamed Policeman was manning the front desk of Weatherfield Police Station in October 2008 when Becky Granger was taken in for questioning following her night of rampage earlier in the month. A concerned Roy Cropper had come to the station requesting to see Becky but was told in no uncertain terms by the policeman that he wouldn't be able to see her until the arresting officer had finished interviewing her.
In January 2009 he arrived on Coronation Street, Weatherfield to escort Gary Windass to the station to question him over the theft of copper pipes from the Builder's Yard after a tip-off from Joe McIntyre. In August of the same year he was the desk clerk on duty at the station when Becky was brought in again after being arrested on her wedding day supposedly being in possession of drugs but in reality having been set up by DC Hooch.
