Philip Shen was the consultant radiologist at Weatherfield General who spoke with Julie Carp and her partner Brian Packham immediately after Julie's initial baby scan in April 2012.
The sonographer who had conducted the scan sought the advice of Mr Shen when she could find no trace of the foetus. He broke the news to a visibly upset Julie that she had not conceived, and a growth on her ovary had resulted in a false positive pregnancy test reading.
