Manchester-born actor Philip Rowson has appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- A Delivery Man in August 2000
- A Weatherfield Gazette Journalist between January and February 2006
- DC/DS Ben Glynn, making intermittent appearances between February 2010 and June 2021.
Having trained at Manchester Metropolitan University School of Theatre, his other TV & film credits include roles in At Home with the Braithwaites, Heartbeat, The Forsyte Saga, Holby City, The Royal, Bradford Riots, Waterloo Road, Emmerdale, Doctors, Taken Out, Boy A, Mobile, Shameless, Avarice, Boy Meets Girl and Vacuum.
His theatre credits include work for Northern Broadsides, Manchester Royal Exchange, Young Vic, Oldham Coliseum and Liverpool Playhouse, whilst on radio he has recorded several series of the comedy Pick Ups amongst others for BBC Radio 4.
