Philip Rowlands appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly between June and July 1989 as Peter Reynolds, Chief Executive of Weatherfield Metropolitan Borough Council; and he returned to the programme in September 1992 as Mr Benson, an obstetrician at Weatherfield General.
His other credits include roles in Ennal's Point, The Bill, Grange Hill, Lytton's Diary, The District Nurse, Casualty, Boon, The Darling Buds of May, G.B.H., Heartbeat and Mortimer's Law, along with the films Murder on Line One and Arthur's Dyke.
