Philip Pollitt appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in August 1978 as a biker boy who purchased a birthday card for his girlfriend in The Kabin; and he returned to the programme in March 1982 as Wayne Gaskell, who gatecrashed sister Sharon's birthday party at 9 Coronation Street.
His other credits include roles in Armchair Thriller, Sense of Place, Strangers, Omnibus, Airline and Emmerdale Farm.
