Peter Temple appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in May 1990 as Rodney Whitworth, a friend of Flick Khan from Manchester Polytechnic who outstayed his welcome at 7 Coronation Street; and he returned to the programme as bank manager Josh Reynolds, seen by Don Brennan in July 1996 with a request to extend his business loan, and also seen by Jack Duckworth in June of the following year for a loan after receiving a £17,650 VAT bill.
He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
His other credits include roles in Freddie and Max, Casualty, The Chief, The Bill, Grafters, Kavanagh QC, Grange Hill, EastEnders, Serious and Organised, Family, Brief Encounters, Doctors and The Hour.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The House of Stairs, Othello, Bedroom Farce, Ying Tong - A Walk with the Goons, Blithe Spirit and The Lady in the Van.
