Peter Kerrigan (born 1916 in Bootle, died 1999 in Liverpool) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in June 1972 as a drunk man at the Victoria Street Working Men's Club's opening night; and he returned to the programme in September 1975 and January 1976 as Douglas Marsh.
He also appeared in Politics, an episode of the Street spin-off The Brothers McGregor, transmitted in March 1987.
His other television credits included roles in Softly Softly: Task Force, The Liver Birds, Z Cars, Days of Hope, The Nearly Man, Crown Court, Red Letter Day, The Sweeney, Strumpet City, Boys from the Blackstuff, Brookside, The Gathering Seed and Scully.
