Peter Ash

Peter Ash (born 4th February 1985 in Moston, Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in May 2018 as Paul Foreman, who shared a cell in Highfield Prison with David Platt. He made a return to the role in January 2019.

Having completed studies at Xavier College, Rusholme, his other television credits include roles in Casualty, Footballers' Wives, The Royal, The Street and Hollyoaks. On the bigger screen he has appeared in the films Chicken Tikka Masala, A Drop of the Pure and Strangeways Here We Come.

On stage he has appeared in productions of Street Trilogy, Ways to Look at Fish, Salford Tales, No Comment, War Horse, Toil and Trouble, From Heaven to Hell and Playmates.

He also won the 2020 National Television Award for best newcomer.

His second cousin, William Ash, has also appeared in Coronation Street.
