Peter along with his partner Paul were proprietors of the upmarket Peter and Paul hair salon where David Platt was employed as a junior in 2008.
Immediately following David's break-up with girlfriend Tina McIntyre, she decided to exact revenge on him for harassing her at work - by doing precisely the same. Tina had turned up at the salon for an appointment she'd booked with Paul and requested that David washed her hair. Whilst at the sink the pair argued, with Tina snatching the shower head and completely drenching David with water.
After Peter and Paul apologised to the rest of their staff and clientele for the "affray", David was instantly sacked and both he and Tina were ordered off the premises.
