Paula Tilbrook (born 16th January 1930 in Salford, died 1st December 2019 in Trafford) appeared in five credited roles in Coronation Street:
- A customer in May 1967
- Kabin customer Mrs. Cleghorn in December 1973
- Estelle Plimpton in September 1977, who was an acquaintance of Annie Walker's within the Lady Victuallers Association
- Derbyshire pub landlady Olive Taylor-Brown in March 1980
- Vivian Barford, an active WARTS member - a role played intermittently between March 1991 and July 1993.
She also voiced the unseen, uncredited Clara Regan of 19 Inkerman Street in March 1975.
Best known for playing village gossip, Betty Eagleton in Emmerdale - making her debut in the programme in 1994, her other TV credits include minor roles in The Dustbinmen, The Liver Birds, Crown Court, Tales of the Unexpected, Open All Hours, Last of the Summer Wine and So Haunt Me.
Film credits include Me You and Him, Walter, Walter and June, Yanks, A Private Function and The Final Frame.
She was the special guest on the edition of This Is Your Life, transmitted on 4th January 2001.
Paula announced her retirement from acting in April 2015, at the age of 85, and was leaving Emmerdale after serving twenty-one years on the programme.
