Paula Simms appeared intermittently on Coronation Street between March 2000 and September 2003 as Marion Stowe, the mother of Sarah Platt's best friend Candice.
Her other TV credits include roles in City Central, The Bill, Doctors, Buried, Outlaws and New Street Law, whilst in 2010 she directed a stage production entitled Chief of Cimbombobombo for the Barefeet Lusaka company, based in Zambia.
