Paul Warriner appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- Ben Williams, the boyfriend of Angie Freeman, who appeared intermittently between January 1991 and November 1992
- John Arnley, an art tutor at Granston Technical College, who was in a relationship with student Toyah Battersby between December 2002 and February 2003
- DC/DS Redfern, who appeared intermittently between October 2010 and October 2011.
He trained at the Manchester School of Theatre.
His other credits include roles in How We Used to Live, Emmerdale, Dangerfield, Springhill, The Grand, Noah's Ark, Always and Everyone, Fat Friends, Casualty, The Village, In the Flesh, World's End, The Five and Happy Valley, along with the films In the Name of the Father, Heart and Emily.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Robbers and A Patriot for Me.
Away from the camera, he runs his own gardening business in Huddersfield, where he lives with his actress wife, Anne and their two daughters.
