Paul Opacic (born 14th February 1966 in Halifax) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between April 2021 and September 2024 as Stefan Brent, the father of Corey.
He is best known for the regular roles of Steve Marchant in Emmerdale, Mark Waddle in Bad Girls and Carl Costello in Hollyoaks and spin-off Hollyoaks Later. He has also appeared in Only Fools and Horses, Birds of a Feather, Lovejoy, Screen Two, Sam Saturday, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Love Hurts, All in the Game, Men of the World, The Chief, The Secret Slave, Heartbeat, Peak Practice, Cold Feet, The Bill, In Denial of Murder, A Thing Called Love, Vincent, Totally Frank, The Chase, Holby City, Florence Nightingale, Sofia's Diary UK, Waterloo Road, Doctors and The Moorside.
On the big screen he has been seen in Element of Doubt, Triple Exposure and Salvage.
