Paul Freeman (born "Peter John Freeman" on 18th January 1943 in Barnet, Hertfordshire) appeared on Coronation Street in April 1973 as strip club manager Terry Slade.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Plenty, The Woman, The Putney Debates, A Fair Quarrel and The Power of Yes for the National Theatre, along with Crimes in Hot Countries, The Castle, Downchild, Refuse to Dance, Cymbeline and Hamlet for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Other works include Orpheus Descending, The Cutting, Glengarry Glen Ross and Uncle Vanya.
His first wife was actress Judy Matheson, who herself appeared on Coronation Street. The couple subsequently divorced.
