Paul Connor was the stillborn son of Liam and Maria Connor. When Maria realised that her baby had stopped kicking, she went to Weatherfield General for an emergency scan with Marcus Dent. Sadly, she was told that the baby had died and was booked in to have her labour induced. Too upset to tell Liam, she went to the hospital alone and then stayed with Audrey when she was discharged. Liam found out when the midwife came to visit Maria, and he was upset that Maria didn't tell him. Paul was buried on 9th May 2008.
In October that year, Liam was killed in a hit and run incident organised by Tony Gordon. Shortly before, Maria became pregnant but had not told him. Over the Christmas period, she went to visit Paul and Liam's graves.
- Paul Connor was named after Liam's brother, Paul Connor, who died in 2007.
