Patricia Heneghan (born 2nd March 1934 in Farnborough, Hampshire; died 24th September 2023 in Berkshire) appeared on Coronation Street between April and May 1961 as Manchester University librarian Marian Lund and short-term girlfriend of student Ken Barlow. (The character was subsequently played by Linda Marlowe in a July 2008 cameo appearance).
Her other credits included roles in The Diary of Samuel Pepys, An Age of Kings, Emergency-Ward 10, Z Cars, Softly Softly, Dixon of Dock Green, Crown Court, Microbes and Men, Angels, The Bill and Midsomer Murders.
Film roles included Crossroads to Crime, Whistle Down the Wind and The Tiger Lily.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Background, Trial and Error, The Mayerling Affair, Suez, Once a Catholic, Roots, Easy Virtue, A Tale of Two Cities, Point Valaine and The Prisoners of War.
Patricia was married to actor Kenneth Farrington (Billy Walker) from 1961 to 1981.
