Patricia "Pat" Bradley was the wife of Alan and mother of Jenny Bradley who was knocked down by a hit-and-run driver on Albert Road in January 1986. She subsequently died from her injuries during the ambulance journey to Weatherfield General.
A Policewoman arrived at The Kabin and broke the news to Mavis Riley who then stopped Jenny as she came in to the shop. Mavis let the policewoman take Jenny to the flat upstairs to break the news privately. Afterwards, the officer took Jenny to her aunt's house in Clegg Street.
