The Paramedic and his colleague rushed to 15a Coronation Street in January 2020 after baby Bertie Osbourne developed a fever and was discovered limp in his cot. He examined the infant and guessed that he had suffered a febrile convulsion as a result of trying to fight off whatever infection he was suffering from. He also found a rash on his chest and assured concerned father Daniel Osbourne that it didn't look like meningitis, but nevertheless recommended a trip to Weatherfield General to make sure. There he was diagnosed with measles, contracted as a result of Daniel refusing to continue with the course of injections when he saw how much the first one had upset his son.

He was called to the Redbank Apartments in June 2023 when Elaine Jones called 999. Engaged to multiple killer Stephen Reid, he wanted to get hold of her funds to buy a share in Underworld, a request that she denied. With a life insurance policy taken out unknowingly in their joint names, he swapped her blood pressure medication with high caffeine pills. She collapsed unconscious, hitting her head and was left for dead by Stephen, however she managed to revive enough to ring an ambulance for herself. Stephen saw the ambulance and rushed up, playing the part of the concerned fiancé. Stephen was allowed to get in the ambulance with her, leaving her son Tim Metcalfe to follow on by himself, as the paramedic told him there was only one spare seat in the vehicle.
