The Paramedic attended two incidents involving residents of Victoria Street. The first was in May 2022 when Toyah Habeeb crashed the car she was driving on Scallow Road. She was knocked unconscious but her passenger husband Imran managed to ring an ambulance and get his wife out of the car before scaffolding she had driven into collapsed down. When the emergency services arrived, Toyah was put in an ambulance whilst a seemingly shaken Imran looked on. He suddenly collapsed and the paramedics attention turned their attention to him. The first paramedic took Toyah to Weatherfield General while the other tried to resuscitate Imran on the spot with the aid of a Basics Doctor, but with possible internal blood loss there was little they could do and after twenty minutes he was declared dead at 14:28. It later emerged that Toyah had deliberately crashed the vehicle after Iman revealed to her that he had used illegal means to gain custody of the baby son he had had with Abi Webster, destroying any chance that the childless couple could ever legally adopt a child.
The second incident was in January 2023 when Nina Lucas fell into the river in Medlock Woods while she, Brian Packham and Asha Alahan were searching for Roy Cropper who had gone there for a meeting of his bat-watching group which was subsequently cancelled, but which he had no way of knowing as he had spurned his Christmas present of a smartphone from his niece. A vanished Roy had accidently dropped his thermos flask in the water and Nina panicked when she saw the floating item and slipped in her haste, banging her head and becoming unconscious. Brian's desperate CPR brought Nina round. An ambulance was called which arrived just as Roy emerged from the trees, alerted by the noise. The paramedic congratulated Brian on his actions, saying that it was due to him that Nina was alive and then took her to the General for a check-up. There, Asha thanked the paramedic for his work and later told Roy that watching him had inspired her to think of taking up the vocation.
