Pamela Craig (born 1937) played reporter Jackie Marsh on Coronation Street in January and February 1966.
Her other television credits include Z Cars and The Brothers, and she voiced the character of Betty Tucker in the long-running BBC radio soap opera The Archers. She was born in born Headingly, Leeds and brought up in the Midlands where she went to drama school and was in the theatre for six years, mostly in rep. She was spotted by talent scouts at Scarborough where Eileen Derbyshire was in a play at the same theatre. Prior to her appearance in Coronation Street she was the female lead in two-handed play by Alan Plater - See the Pretty Light.
She also appeared in An Age of Kings, The Spread of the Eagle, The Spies, Z Cars, The First Lady, Out of the Unknown, The Brothers and Pickersgill People. On radio, she was heard in productions such as The World of the Young, Sylvia's Lovers, The Archers and Afternoon Theatre.
