Pal Aron (born 1971 in Birmingham) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly between March and April 2001 as Jayesh Parekh, brother of Sunita (the role was recast to Ace Bhatti upon the character's return in 2004); and he returned to the programme intermittently between December 2006 and March 2007 as Sonny Dhillon.

Following a variety of different jobs, he graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 1993 and became a professional actor after appearing with the Theatre of the Unemployed in his home city.

Best known for his roles as Adam Osman in Casualty from 1998 to 2000, DC Brandon Kane in The Bill from 2002 to 2004, Vijay Chohan in The Royal Today in 2008 and Jagadeesh in Stella from 2012 to 2017, his other television credits include roles in Common As Muck, EastEnders, In Deep, The Cup, Wolfblood, Born to Kill, Doctors, Midsomer Murder and Annika.

Film roles include Brothers in Trouble, Dog Eat Dog, Twenty8k, About Time and Another End.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Macbeth, King Lear and Midwinter for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Other works include Bartholomew Fair, The Front Page and The Alchemist.
