Paddy Joyce (born "Patrizio Francis Schaurek" on 31st May 1923 in Trieste, Italy; died 27th July 2000 in London) appeared intermittently on Coronation Street between September 1968 and May 1974 as rag-and-bone man Tommy Deakin.

His mother Eileen Schaurek (née Joyce) was the sister of author James Joyce, and following the death of her husband, Frantisek, in 1926, returned to her native Ireland with her son Patrick and his two elder siblings, Nora and Bozena.

His other credits included roles in Boyd Q.C., No Hiding Place, Z Cars, The Revenue Men, Dixon of Dock Green, The Doctors, Crown Court, Softly Softly: Task Force, The Onedin Line, The Wackers, The Melting Pot, The Bill, Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and EastEnders.

On stage, he appeared in a 1962 production of Fings Ain't Wot They Used T'Be.
