PC Brady dealt with a number of incidents relating to the residents of Coronation Street.
In October 2016 he called on Maria Connor after Kate Connor reported her for the mysterious disappearance of Caz Hammond. He and PC Sandford called at 2a Coronation Street where they took details of when Caz had last been seen and asked Maria to vacate the premises and stay somewhere else for the night while they carried out checks. They called back later on with Caz's damaged mobile phone which they had found outside Audrey's salon, telling a stunned Maria that they'd secured her flat as a potential crime scene. In reality, Caz was setting up Maria after she had spurned her advances and in the course of their investigations, they discovered that Maria had entered into a false marriage with Pablo Duarte to enable him to stay in the country, an offence for which she was later jailed.
In January 2017, PC Brady called into Underworld to interview Aidan Connor after he had attacked Adam Barlow who provoked him with a claim to part-ownership of the factory. After taking a statement, Brady made the suggestion that he kept wide berth from Adam. Johnny Connor despaired of his son's actions and cancelled his plans to hand over control of factory to Aidan and retire.

In February 2022, Brady arrested former drugs courier Jacob Hay for breaking into 1 Coronation Street. Unknown to anyone, he was in a secret relationship with Amy Barlow but she kept the fact from her parents as she knew they would not be approving of someone with his record. It was Amy's eighteenth birthday and a surprise party had been arranged for her at the Viaduct Bistro. Returning home for cake candles, Steve and Tracy McDonald found the chain on the door and spotted an unfamiliar figure moving about inside. Steve raced round the back and found Jacob coming the other way down Rosamund Street where he tackled him to the ground. With the police summoned, Brody took Jacob to the station for questioning. Unknown to her parents, Amy followed him there and gave her boyfriend an alibi as the two had been meeting in the house while they had thought they had it to themselves.
