Omdurman Street was a street in Weatherfield, home to the themed pub the Laughing Donkey.

Omdurman Street was located in the St. Mary's Ward. Sid Platt, their councillor for the two decades prior to 1966, earned local favour by having a zebra crossing placed there. During a council by-election campaign that year, Hilda Ogden advised Independent candidate Annie Walker to advocate compulsory rubber lids for dustbins, as it would win over Cissie Buckley, who carried a lot of weight in Omdurman Street.

In 1983 Phyllis Pearce was living on the street when she heard that it, including her house, was to be demolished.
