Oliver Mellor (born 30th January 1981 in Windsor, Berkshire) is an English actor and former personal trainer who appeared in Doctor Who, Hollyoaks, Doctors, EastEnders, The Royal and Skins before being cast in 2010 as Doctor Matt Carter, at the Rosamund Street Medical Centre. Feeling unsatisfied with little to do in the part, Carter quit the role in 2013 after nearly three years.
