The Nurse looked after Chesney Brown after he underwent surgery at Weatherfield General in July 2017 to heal wounds caused by him being stabbed with a broken bottle after he walked into a fight in Nick's Bistro between drug dealer Rich Collis and his former client Robert Preston.
During the night, ex-girlfriend Sinead Tinker sat by his bedside and was assured by the nurse that he had come through the surgery well and had had a good night, suggesting that she go home herself and get herself some rest. Also telling her to depart was Fiz Stape who was angry with Sinead for cheating on her brother with Daniel Osbourne. When Chesney came round, Fiz purposely didn't tell him about Sinead's vigil but the next day the nurse did when she chattily asked him where his guardian Angel was to be found. Chesney thus realised the deception that was being played on him.
