Nurse (Episode 10473)

The A&E Nurse at Weatherfield General attended to Curtis Delamere after he collapsed when pushing Steve McDonald's stalled taxi cab. Curtis was suffering from a factitious mental disorder and convinced himself and most of those around him that he had a genetic heart condition. Not knowing this, the nurse ordered a porter to take him through for examination while she took his personal details. When his fiancée Emma Brooker arrived in a panic, Curtis convinced her that he had been given paracetamol, advised to have plenty of rest and been prescribed a new medication to help him with his breathing.
