Norah Hammond appeared on Coronation Street between June and September 1961 as Ida Barlow's mother Nancy Leathers. She reprised the role briefly in August of the following year.
Her only other known credits are for late-1950s movies The House in the Woods, The Headless Ghost and Horrors of the Black Museum, along with an episode of the TV series Rendezvous in 1959.
