Nona Williams (born "Frances Nona Williams" on 31st March 1932, died 3rd January 2003 in Ramsbottom, Bury) appeared on Coronation Street in June 1971 as the Mayoress of Weatherfield whose husband opened the new Community Centre.
She also appeared in the television serials Comedy Matinee, Crime Buster, Sense of Place and a September 1962 BBC radio play, Flowers to Mrs. Duncan, alongside Peter Adamson, Eileen Derbyshire and Jennifer Moss.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Kind Sir, Lady Windermere's Fan, A Streetcar Named Desire and Absurd Person Singular.
