Nicholas Irons (born 1970 in Hampshire), appeared on Coronation Street in 1999 as Freshco boss James Kitching, who, after spending an activity weekend with the Weatherfield branch staff, vested a keen interest in assistant manager Nita Desai.

Having trained at the Guildhall School in London, he has been credited for minor roles in The Madness of King George, The Investigator, Sharpe's Waterloo, Berkeley Square, Aristocrats, Relic Hunter, The Lady Musketeer, Scarlett, The Conclave, Ghost Voyage, Freedom Riders and Drop Dead Gorgeous, as well as producing the 2004 short film entitled The Pool.
