Nicholas Hamnett (born 5th November 1962 in Sheffield) appeared on Coronation Street in July 1988 as freelance photographer, Ian Knowles.
His other credits include roles in All Creatures Great and Small, along with the films Hand in Hand and The Bunker.
He has since pursued an alternative career as a lecturer of literature in Istanbul, Koblenz in Germany and Ciudad Real, Spain as well as teaching drama in New York.
