Nicholas Fry (born 1957 in Liverpool) appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- Estate agent Mr Simpson, who appeared intermittently between October 1989 and July 1991
- Estate agent Mr Hewitt, appearing between August and September 1995
- Mr Charles, Tyrone Dobbs's (somewhat incredulous) driving instructor in January 2000
- Barman Adrian Hapgood in September 2003.
His other credits include roles in How We Used to Live, Emmerdale Farm, Children's Ward, The New Statesman, Waterfront Beat, The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes, Stay Lucky, Heartbeat, Cracker, Sunnyside Farm, Out of Sight, The Forsyte Saga and Hollyoaks, along with the 1987 film Testimony.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Ghost Train, Cider with Rosie and The Threepenny Opera for the Gateway Theatre Trust, Chester.
Away from acting, he has been in post as Heritage Manager of Chester Cathedral since 1992.
