Nev Goodwyn (born "Neville Goodwin", 1944 in Wombwell, South Yorkshire, died 29th February 2012 in Sale) appeared on Coronation Street in both February 1985 and December 1987 as a postman.
He abandoned the life of mining in 1969 and went to work for Butlins in Pwllheli as a chairlift attendant. Winning that year's staff talent contest, part of the prize was a contract to return the following year as a redcoat. Nev and fellow redcoat Tom Sutton worked as a comedy double-act firstly at Butlins before taking on the working men's club circuit of the north of England. They split and went their separate ways in 1971.
His only other known credits were for roles in Seaview and the Channel 4 film Vroom.
