Milton Johns (born "John Robert Milton" on 13th May 1938 in Bristol) appeared on Coronation Street between February 1991 and August 1993 as Brendan Scott, former area manager of Bettabuy and corner shop owner.

He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

His other credits spanning five decades include roles in Softly Softly and its sequel Softly Softly: Task Force, The Three Musketeers, Doctor Who, The Devil in the Fog, Z Cars, The Intruder, The Jensen Code, Crown Court, South Riding, The Poisoning of Charles Bravo, Poldark, King of the Castle, Midnight Is a Place, A Horseman Riding By, Spearhead, Butterflies, Bread or Blood, The Gaffer, Murphy's Mob, Foxy Lady, Tucker's Luck, Wuffer, The Pickwick Papers, Hell's Bells, Happy Families, Roy's Raiders, Harry's Mad, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Born and Bred, along with the films Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, Stanley's Dragon, The X Files and Making a Killing.

On stage, he appeared in productions of She Stoops to Conquer, Lysistrata, The Tempest, The Egg, Richard II, A Passage to India, Mother Courage and her Children, All's Well That Ends Well, The Sitting Duck, Ross, The Apple Cart, Cinderella, The Flanders Mare, Macbeth, War and Peace, Brand, Becket, All Things Bright and Beautiful and Julius Caesar for the Bristol Old Vic. Other works include The Teahouse of the August Moon, Dear Brutus, Don Juan, The Entertainer, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Heir, Sailor, Beware!, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Major Barbara and Eurydice.
