Mike Savage (born 20th May 1943 in Co. Clare, Ireland) appeared on Coronation Street in October 1969 as football referee Norman Franklin.
His other credits include roles in Dixon of Dock Green, St. Ives, Crossroads, A Little Bit of Wisdom, Couples, Man About the House, Confessions from a Holiday Camp, The Fuzz, Minder, The Deceivers, On the Line, The Gaffer, Grange Hill, Eureka, The Album, The Bill, Ratman, Andy Capp and The Vice.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Mother Courage and her Children, Narrow Road to the Deep North, Macbeth, The Little Foxes and The Hasty Heart.
