Micky Dacks appeared on Coronation Street as Pete, a heavy and enforcer who worked for drug dealer Denton in September 2015, and was also an associate of Vinny Ashford in October 2017. He returned to the programme as a Workman on a demolition crew assigned to pull down Nuttall's Brewery in December 2020.
He graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with an MA in Playwriting and Screenwriting.
His other credits include roles in Wired, Nightmare in Suburbia, Doctors, Moving On, the short films Needles and Pins and Groovy along with the TV movie The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister.
On the other side of the camera he wrote, directed and produced Needles and Pins and has contributed stories to both BBC News and Newsround.
Micky was the driving force behind the urban musical Innit, which saw a successful ten-night run at The Lowry, Manchester - having penned the script after being released from prison. Also an accomplished professional musician, he has recently founded the charity "Innit For Young People", providing theatre productions and workshop activity for young people in the inner city.
