Michael Yeaman (born 1962 in Northumberland) appeared on Coronation Street between April and May 1986 as Alec Trenham. A friend of Susan Barlow, he was a guest at her 21st birthday party and in attendance at her wedding to Mike Baldwin.
His other credits include roles in Quest of Eagles, The Eleventh Hour, Spender, In Suspicious Circumstances, Crime Limited, Byker Grove, Heartbeat, Finney, ChuckleVision, Out of the Blue and The Dumping Ground, along with the TV movies Jamie Running and Operation Julie.
He has written for BBC Radio 4 with works including Kathmandu or Bust, Boxing Clever (starring Thelma Barlow) and Going for Broke (starring Les Dennis), as well as penning episodes of Spitting Image and Smack the Pony. His award-winning play, Lucky Numbers began a week's run at The Customs House in South Shields in July 2008.
