Michael Starke (born 13th November 1957 in Liverpool) is an English actor who played Jerry Morton in Coronation Street between March 2007 and September 2008. He is most famous for his role as Thomas 'Sinbad' Sweeney, which he played for sixteen years, in the soap opera Brookside. He is also known for his role as Kenneth Hopkirk in The Royal.
