Michael Percival (born 1945, died 13th September 2015 in Lewisham, London) appeared in two roles in Coronation Street: firstly in May 1969 as an estate agent who took the Ken and Valerie Barlow round a show house; and he returned to to the programme in January 1970 as hairdressing salesman Stuart Coates.

He also appeared in Mr. Rose, the regular role of Mr Mitchell in Grange Hill, Me and My Girl, Inspector Morse, The Piglet Files, Lovejoy, The House of Eliott, Boon, The Sculptress and Doctor Who while on film, he had roles in Clockwise, A Fish Called Wanda and its sequel Fierce Creatures, Drowning by Numbers and 101 Dalmatians.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Henry V, Marat/Sade, Mother Courage and her Children, Spring and Port Wine, Roar Like a Dove, When We Are Married, Twelfth Night, Pericles, Antony and Cleopatra, The Country Girl and Sherlock Holmes and the Crucifer of Blood.
