Maxine Finch appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- A Doctor based at Weatherfield General who in April 2012 tended to Audrey Roberts when she suffered a heart attack
- A Witness Support Worker who was on duty at Weatherfield Crown Court during Peter Barlow's trial for the murder of Tina McIntyre in October 2014
- The Coroner who in August 2018 presided over the inquest of Aidan Connor's death.
- The Judge at the hearing as to whether a sick Oliver Battersby's life should be terminated in November 2020 and at the hearings of Abi Webster's custody case of her prematurely-born son Alfie Franklin in March and May 2022.
Her other credits include roles in Dangerfield, Crossroads, Burn It, Doctors, Holby City, Blue Murder, Waterloo Road, Emmerdale, DCI Banks, Hollyoaks, Vera and the feature films Provoked: A True Story and A Change in the Weather.
On stage she has appeared in productions of Getting it Straight and Inside Out of Mind.
