Maureen Morland (born "Maureen McCluskey" on 30th November 1936 in Sheffield, died 15th December 2023 in Blackpool) appeared on Coronation Street in April 1976 as a fat lady attempting to purchase clothes at Sylvia's Separates.

She first performed on stage aged three and attended the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.

She was best known as the lead dancer in the novelty troupe The Roly Polys who frequently used to perform with Les Dawson. By herself, she sometimes went by the name of "The Mighty Atom" and it was in both guises that she shot to fame in the 1980s, appearing on Blankety Blank, Bullseye and Game for a Laugh.

She was the special guest on the edition of This Is Your Life, transmitted on 15th January 1992.

Renowned for her charity work, she was a committee member of Cheerful Sparrows, helping socially disadvantaged people and was president of the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals.
