Martin Walsh (born 8th November 1955 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- Crook Frank Marsden, involved in Joe Carter's plan to bankrupt Mike Baldwin in June 2003
- A police officer who, along with his colleague, wrongly arrested Roy Cropper and Ken Barlow on suspicion of drug-dealing in September 2008
- A detective who called to 11 Coronation Street to question Colin Grimshaw in May 2009
- DS Tyler, appearing intermittently between September 2015 and February 2021.
His other television credits include roles in A Touch of Frost, Cardiac Arrest, Ivanhoe, Heartbeat, City Central, The Dark Room, Casualty, Playing the Field, Emmerdale, North & South, Last Rights, Britz, Doctors, The Crash, Rovers and Bulletproof.
Film roles include Beautiful Thing, The Woodlanders, Writers Retreat and Rogue Agent.
On stage, he appeared in a production of Chips With Everything for the National Theatre, along with Billy Elliot, A View from A Bridge and Hobson's Choice.
