Martin Reeve appeared on Coronation Street in five roles:
- Dr Donaldson, who treated a dying Lisa Duckworth in February 1993
- Ian Renwick, a representative of Newton & Ridley, appearing between October and November 1995
- Bingo caller and first aider Lester Middleman, who appeared between October and November 1999
- Colin Harman, the solicitor who represented Ashley Peacock in both May and July 2006 in his parental rights battle with Matt Ramsden
- A police officer in both April and September 2012.
With a Masters Degree from the University of Manchester, he has extensive experience in outdoor theatre and dancing as well as acting. He was awarded an Arts and Humanities Research Council studentship to study Contemporary Punch and Judy - joining a PhD course at the Royal Holloway, University of London in 2006.
His other credits include roles in Happy Families, In Suspicious Circumstances, Emmerdale, Heartbeat, The Bill, Peak Practice, City Central, Fat Friends, Hollyoaks, Doctors, Shameless, Sorted, Downton Abbey and Brassic, along with the films Downtime, The Darkest Light and Fresh from the Coast.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Too Clever for Love, Dealing In Futures, Rocket to the Moon and Alfie for the Octagon Theatre, Bolton. Other works include Antony and Cleopatra, A Study in Scarlet and Ian Kershaw's adaptation of The Mist and the Mirror in 2015.
