Martin Fisk (born 28th April 1946 in Edmonton, London) appeared on Coronation Street between July and August 1980 as P.C. White.
Educated at Highgate School and Southgate College, he went on to study drama part-time at Mountview Theatre School in North London, where he met his future wife, Diane. He then studied full time at RADA where he won the Rodney Millington Award for Most Promising Actor and graduated in 1971.
His other credits include roles in Poldark, Crown Court, A Horseman Riding By, A Question of Guilt, Angels, Doctor Who, On the Line, Minder, No Problem!, Agatha Christie's Miss Marple: The Moving Finger, Room at the Bottom, The Bill and Heartbeat, but was best known for his role as a truck driver in a long-running advertisement for Yorkie chocolate bars shown in the late 1970s.
On stage, he appeared in productions of A Worthy Guest and Rock Nativity.
Retiring in 2009, he and his wife now live in Spain.
