Marlene Sidaway (born 1937) appeared in three roles in Coronation Street:

She was born in Thornaby-on-Tees and trained at the East 15 Acting School in London from 1961 onwards. Her long list of television credits includes Quest of Eagles, Andy Robson, Shine on Harvey Moon, Between the Lines, Pride and Prejudice, Accused, The Vicar of Dibley and several roles in Midsomer Murders, Doctors and The Bill.

Her radio work includes playing Miss Lewis in King St Junior for twelve years while on stage she has appeared in The Madness of Esme & Shaz, Hedda Gabler and The Dearly Beloved.
