Mark Jordon (born 25th January 1965 in Oldham) appeared on Coronation Street in six roles:
- Newton & Ridley drayman, Vinnie in February 1985
- One of the thugs who attacked Hilda Ogden and Joan Lowther in November 1987
- The police constable who returned Deirdre Barlow's handbag to 1 Coronation Street following her ordeal with the unhinged Brian Roscoe in December 1988
- PC Eric Wilson in November 1989, who called on Rita Fairclough after she reported Alan Bradley for entering her house
- P.C. Betts in both November 1990 and August 1991, who investigated break-ins at No.4 and No.1 respectively
- Builder Graham Naisby in March 2014, who was hired to work on V Court Fitness.
He was inspired to become an actor after watching Steve McQueen films as a child. During his schooling, he also attended the Oldham Theatre Workshop and later worked pubs and clubs to earn his Equity Card.
Best known for his portrayal of PC Phil Bellamy in Yorkshire Television's police drama series Heartbeat from 1992 to 2007 and as Daz Spencer in Emmerdale in 2014 and from 2017 to 2019, his other credits include roles in How We Used to Live, Seaview, Strike It Rich!, EastEnders, Made in Heaven, Bread, Earthfasts, The Royal, Casualty, Doctors, Hollyoaks, Rocket's Island and Holby City, along with the 2016 film Halcyon Heights.
On stage, he appeared in productions of All in Good Time and The Cat and the Canary.
He produced and directed the short film To the Sea Again in 2006, making the final of Moondance 2007 in Hollywood.
Jordon is currently in a relationship with his former Emmerdale co-star, Laura Norton, having previously been married to actress Siobhan Finneran, who herself appeared in Coronation Street.
