Mark Robert Cameron (born 1968 in Newcastle upon Tyne) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- DI Parks, who appeared intermittently between December 2006 and September 2007
- Stuart Pollock, husband of Moira Pollock, who appeared in September 2017
- Neville Delamere, father of Emma Brooker's short-lived fiancé, Curtis Delamere, who appeared in December 2021.
He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1991 with a BA in English Language and Literature/Letters and started out as a stand-up comedian before winning a scholarship to London Academy of Dramatic Arts (LAMDA).
His other television credits include roles in Emmerdale, Brookside, EastEnders, Casualty, Doctors, 55 Degrees North, Steel River Blues, Mayo, Vincent, The Royal, The Bill, Holby City, Roman Mysteries, Waterloo Road, Law & Order: UK, The Royals, Brief Encounters, Tina and Bobby, Good Omens, Alice & Jack and Bergerac.
Film roles include The Damned United and Scar Tissue, along with the shorts Tomo, Double Act, Barry Brown, The Boss, The Other Side and Snowflakes.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Rapunzel, The Breakfast Soldiers, Life Imitates Art - Love Trilogy Part One, Hospitality, La Cage aux Folles, Whodunnit, Hurling Rubble at the Moon, Jack and the Beanstalk, Sleeping Beauty, Mathematics of the Heart and Blue Funk.
